EYC is selling raffle tickets for
a beautifully handmade afghan, donated by our own Lenora Lee. Tickets are $5 each and all monies will go towards purchasing
CARTA bus passes for the people served by Community Kitchen. Tickets can be purchased from EYC in the Youth Room following
Sunday Services on March 31, April 7, and April 14.
Our first ECW Ladies Night Out this year is taking place on Monday, April 8, at 6:30 p.m. We will
be meeting at Mr. Toto's Japanese Restaurant in Ooltewah located by the Walmart. All women are invited and sign-up
can be found in the Narthex. For more information, please contact Gail Grande at 238-7750.
The deadline
for registering for the ECW Spring Conference is fast approaching. You must register by April 5. The conference
takes place April 19-21 at Dubose Conference Center in Monteagle. Details and Registration Information can be found
in the Narthex.
Our Ministry Fair is scheduled for Sunday, April 21, following both the
8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services. People who are already using their gifts and talents will be available to help others
learn more about the many opportunities in our church and community.
Don't forget to mark your calendar for the Parish Picnic on Sunday, April 28, following the 10:00 service.
Hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks will be provided by St. Francis. We have put out a sign-up sheet for sides. We
will also need volunteers to help set up, cook, and serve. If you can help, please contact Doug Hamm at dhamm72@yahoo.com.
